Event Publications
CAASA Family Office Summit 2024
It was another record year – we had 250 (at capacity) attendees with about 50% being investors (asset-owners/allocators) including more than 70 SFOs. All participants are vetted by our staff to ensure that those noted as Allocators/Investors on their badges are just that. Those with other ‘commercial interests’ need to join CAASA, pay the requisite fee for a delegate pass, and are badged as an asset manager/service provider. We’d rather have people be pleasantly surprised that someone can allocate to them vs the converse.
CAASA Wealth Managers’ Forums 2024
Presented in Toronto and Montréal – thanks to our venue sponsor KPMG in each city – these IA/wealth manager-focused events grew by about 50% in 2024 as we continued to present experienced advisors and select asset managers on topical and interesting panels (or so we’re told!).
CAASA Planning Doc 2024
Released in August, our annual planning doc is an excellent resource for CAASA members (and those thinking about joining) to plan their marketing spend for the upcoming year. Review this document then book. a time to speak with a member of staff to tailor a package to your specifications.
CAASA Annual Conference 2023
We sold out in record time and the curriculum and faculty of this amazing 2-day conference (most of Day 1 for speakers, sponsors, & investors only) was second to none. Uniquely, we do not have any managers on stage: only investors and allocators. A little quirky, but it allows us to attract 40% investors to this and all of our conferences.
CAASA SuperWeek 2023
SuperWeek this year included our Start-Up Round-Up on Day 1, Private Equity & Venture Capital Assembly on Day 2, and Digital Assets & Blockchain Day on the last. Investors, managers, service providers, and founders came in from across Canada and the U.S. as well as as far away as the Middle East and Europe.
We designed the days to appeal to all member types in the space, with a mix of the pitch sessions, panels, firesides, and NowTalks. Look forward to more as we continue to service this growing area of alternatives!
CAASA Alternative Perspectives 2023
We returned to Vancouver for this crowd-pleasing event (and locale!) featuring a great line-up of speakers, Table Talks, and our ever-popular boat cruise. 15+ SFOs were there (many with the explicit purpose of finding managers/funds to allocate to). 40% investors/allocators, 50% managers, and 10% service providers was a super mix. We also had our annual Start-Up Round-Up West where founders were matched with angels and VCs.
Family Office Summit 2023
We had a record-breaking 40 single family offices in attendance (all vetted by our staff). 40% of attendees were investors such as SFOs, MFOs, and wealth managers; 52% were asset managers; and just 8% were service providers. Marry that with super content and we have another winner!
Wealth Managers’ Forums 2023
Presented across Canada in Vancouver, Calgary, Montréal, and Toronto, this series of in-person conferences is designed with Investment Advisors in mind. Each session speaks to building one’s book, allocating to alternatives, and/or specific alts products that might be appropriate for one’s clients.
Family Office Cayman Experience 2023
Produced in conjunction with Dart, this multi-day conference was held at the seven-diamond Kimpton Seafire Resort and included numerous presentations dealing with the domicile decision as well as investment options for family offices. 19 families were represented at this event that numbered just 55 attendees and included various excursions around the island.

Virtual Family Office Summit 2021 – Program
The CAASA Family Office Summit brings together speakers and participants from single and multi- family offices, investment dealers, Canadian and global investment management houses, and affiliated service providers. Panels and break-out sessions will focus on key issues facing family offices in Canada and elsewhere including structuring, legal & tax issues, IT and operational areas, and investments – including: hedge funds, CTAs, private equity, private lending, real estate, infrastructure, and crypto-assets/blockchain-related investments. All content is subject to Chatham House Rule.
