Overview

Getting on the shelf of an IIROC dealer is thought to be the Holy Grail of asset managers in Canada. Not least because they control about 75% of the $1 trillion of dealer money ($500 billion at the mutual fund dealers) but because their Investment Advisors are able to sell securities and more sophisticated funds such as hedge funds and those investing in real estate and private lending (among others). Come to this panel to learn what dealers are looking for, how to approach Investment Advisors to get best effect, and what characteristics sell best in this market.
