Patrick Reid is a managing director on the Morgan Stanley AIP Hedge Fund Solutions team, focusing on oversight and management of customized portfolios. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2009 and has 22 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, Patrick was the head for single manager hedge fund product development and business head for Hedge Premier at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. Previously, he was at Citigroup Global Wealth Management as a director in alternative investments in New York and a manager at Citigroup Private Banking and Asset Management in London. Patrick received a BSc with honors in business administration from Bath University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Joan Lee, CFA, Senior Vice President, is Senior Portfolio Manager within the Cross Asset Solutions team. She joined Unigestion in November 2015. Joan began her career in 2008 as an investment consultant at Deloitte and subsequently, at Russell Investments. In 2012 she joined State Street, where she spent time on equity sales, FX sales trading and prime brokerage desks before joining State Street Associates, State Street’s partnership with renowned academics at Harvard and MIT. Joan was responsible for multi-asset quantitative research for institutional investors, with a focus on portfolio construction and risk management methodologies. Joan holds a Bachelor in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics from the University of Warwick and a Masters in Finance from the University of Cambridge, UK

Karen joined LFIS in May 2015. Karen started her career in 1994 as a government bond trader at CDC Paris. In 1997, Karen began working in the UK for Société Générale, where she held senior investment banking roles until 2005 including in fixed-income trading, business development and as head of the European credit sales team from 2002 to 2005. In 2006, Karen joined the alternative asset management business of Société Generale, “SGAM AI” with responsibility for business development activities in Northern Europe for the firm’s hedge fund offer. Karen holds a Master’s degree in Finance from University Paris Dauphine.
Zach Siewert is a finance professional with 6 years of experience investing in hedge funds across asset classes and strategies. Zach excels at looking at the big picture, using his passion for geopolitics, macro, and forecasting to provide essential context for decision making. Most recently, Zach worked as an Associate in the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan’s External Managers Group where he originated and negotiated deals with hedge funds and helped ensure a strong overall hedge fund book through portfolio construction. Zach is a CFA and holds a Masters of Financial Economics from the University of Toronto and a BA (Hon) in Economics from the University of Alberta.
