Overview
CAASA invites you to join a sommelier-led wine tasting from the comfort of home alongside our keynote speaker Paul Stapleton as he discusses the trends in the cryptocurrency landscape. He will discuss the depth of the market as well as how to achieve liquidity. He will address the wants and needs for cryptocurrency and the gaps in the Canadian marketplace.
Bring your questions and challenges as we dive deep into these California classics and the world of cryptocurrency.
Registration includes delivering the two featured bottles to those living in the GTA (some exclusions might apply) and those outside of the area can BYOB and tune in to the tasting presentation and banter with those vintages or others that you might prefer (Mackenzie can speak to any bottle).

A 23-year veteran of the Canadian financial industry, Paul Stapleton joined FCC in May 2017. He manages evolving technology strategy and continuous platform development, implementation and delivery of new services and solutions, and technical alignment to help clients service their businesses.
Paul was part of the executive team that built DundeeWealth from independent IIROC and MFDA dealers in the early 2000s, before the firm’s sale to ScotiaBank in 2010.
Recently, Paul served as SVP, Information Technology, for investment dealer Dundee Securities, and as VP, Information Technology, for merchant banking firm Dundee Corporation. He graduated from Trinity College in the University of Toronto and has completed the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers (PDO) course.

Kent Rasmussen truly believes that the North Coast has the perfect terroir for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. He spent years searching the appellation for the best “vineyards farmed by really engaged farmers who value quality above all else”. For this wine, most of the fruit comes from Sonoma, but there are a couple vineyard lots from Napa Valley, and Lake County as well.
This Cabernet smells like cherries and red currant, vanilla, hazelnut and subtle undertones of spices. These are carried forward to the palate with bright, rich fruit flavour with plenty of soft tannins.

The folksy country crowd and top critics agree: Grayson’s Chardonnay has been a gold-medallist at California’s state fair and a wine that Robert Parker named to his list of top California value wines for 11 consecutive years. A cozy, clean, creamy, bright wine that deserves a place at your table. Brilliantly ripe, showing brisk acidity and good minerality with notes of pineapple and apricot.
