Michel Brutti is currently the President and Founder of Clear Skies Investment Management, an impact investing firm in Montreal. Up until 2020, Michel Brutti was a Senior Partner and Portfolio Manager at Jarislowsky Fraser, where he served as a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Committee and the Sustainable Investment Committee, promoting the Principles of Responsible Investing. He managed the firm’s Global and International Equity portfolios for over 20 years, as well as investments for financial institutions and family offices. Michel Brutti is passionate about responsible and impact investing. Michel holds a CFA Charter, an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Computer Engineering degree from the University of Compiègne. Michel is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), and a SASB FSA Credential-holder.
Michel is a board member of the Fonds d’Action Québecois pour le Développement Durable (FAQDD), a board member of the Fonds Climat du Grand Montréal where he chairs the investment committee. Michel is also a board member of the association CAFIID (Canada Forum for Impact Investment and Development). Michel also sits on the Investment Committee of the Ottawa Green Municipal Fund, on the Investment Review Committee of the Inuit Makivik Corporation and the Investment Committee of Ecofuel, a clean tech accelerator fund.
