Dr. Ranjan Bhaduri is the Founder, President & CEO of Bodhi Research Group. Bodhi Research Group is focused on research and education in the alternative investments industry.
Dr. Bhaduri has extensive experience in hedge fund research, hedge fund factorization, portfolio management, and due diligence (investment, operational, and structural). Dr. Bhaduri has designed and implemented an institutional due diligence and research program. Dr. Bhaduri has worked closely with pensions, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and family offices globally. Dr. Bhaduri has ten years of experience at managed account platforms. Dr. Bhaduri’s experience also includes being on an Investment Committee at Morgan Stanley where he conducted due diligence and helped design customized portfolios of Alternatives. Earlier, he was at a Canadian Fund of Funds, and at a multi-billion dollar capital management firm where he was involved in all aspects of its fund of hedge funds and structured finance business. He has also worked with two major Canadian investment banks in the Financial Strategy Consulting Group and in Global Risk Management & Control, respectively.
Dr. Bhaduri has a winning track record of leadership and training. Several of his former analysts and interns have gone on to have successful careers and have held positions at prestigious organizations, including the following firms: Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Goldman Sachs, J.P Morgan, Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), Neuberger Berman, and Crabel Capital Management.
Dr. Bhaduri has held an advisory role at the East-West Center, a leading think tank on the Asia-Pacific region. He has taught finance and mathematics at several universities and lectured on Derivatives for the Montreal Exchange. Dr. Bhaduri has published papers on, and been invited to speak worldwide regarding hedge fund issues, and advanced portfolio and risk management techniques. Dr. Bhaduri was invited by the CME to be part of a special delegation that met with regulators in Beijing and Taipei to discuss hedge fund issues.
Dr. Bhaduri holds both the CFA and CAIA charters. He is a member of the American Mathematical Society, the Mathematical Association of America, the Toronto CFA Society, and PRMIA. Dr. Bhaduri previously served as a member of the All About Alpha Editorial Board, and has previously served on the CAIA Chicago Chapter Executive and is currently a CAIA Toronto Chapter Executive. Dr. Bhaduri previously served on the Board of Directors of AIMA Canada, co-chair of AIMA Canada Managed Futures Committee, and on the AIMA Global Research Committee.

Prior to joining Castle Hall, Lloyd was a Senior Investment Representative with Scotiabank’s discount brokerage division. He holds a BA in Economics from Concordia University in Montreal, has passed CFA Level I and has completed his Canadian Securities, Options licensing and Derivatives Fundamentals Courses through the Canadian Securities Institute.

Brynn Coursey Heegan joined Lyxor Asset Management Inc.’s predecessor firm in 2006 to lead the Operational Due Diligence team. In her role, she implemented the global operational due diligence program. Ms. Heegan oversees a team of professionals each with over 20 years of experience in liquid alternative strategies. She has kept Lyxor’s team at the forefront of mitigating operational risks related to hedge fund investing.
As a member of the firm’s Manager Universe, Risk and Valuation Committees, Ms. Heegan retains independent veto rights on all hedge fund investments across the organization. Ms. Heegan participated in the 2013 Columbia Leadership Program with Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking and is an active alumna of the 2014 SG AMER CEO Club Leadership Program. She frequently participates in Société Générale Americas Mentoring and the Americas Women Programs. Ms. Heegan was selected as one of the Top 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds in 2018.
She previously served as the Controller of Kensico Capital Management Corporation, from 2002 through 2005. From 2000 to 2002, Ms. Heegan served as an Analyst within Morgan Stanley’s Prime Brokerage Group. From 1997 to 2000, she worked at Arthur Andersen LLP as an experienced Senior Accountant in their Financial Markets Audit Division and Tax Advisory Services Practices.
Ms. Heegan received a B.S. in Public Accounting with a specialization in Legal and Ethical Studies from Fordham University.

Mr. Kneis has over 30 years of experience in the alternative investment industry specializing in hedge fund investment management, structured product development, equity derivatives, arbitrage trading and venture capital investing. As a financial services entrepreneur, he has significant experience starting and operating independent investment management entities.
Mr. Kneis is co-founder and CEO of Altrust Investment Solutions. Altrust sources, performs due diligence upon, packages and distributes unique investments to wealth management firms, investment dealers, advisors and family offices in Canada.
Prior to co-founding Altrust, Mr. Kneis was the co-founder, CEO and a member of the board of directors of Difference Capital Inc. (“DCF”), a TSX listed merchant bank. DCF invested in private technology, media and healthcare growth companies.
Prior to co-founding DCF in 2012, Mr. Kneis was the Founder, CEO and Chief Investment Officer of Abria Financial Group, where he managed three portfolios of hedge funds. Abria was the inaugural winner in 2004 of the Canadian Investment Awards “Best Fund of Hedge Funds”. Prior to founding Abria, Mr. Kneis was the CEO of Maple Securities Ltd., a privately held, $100 million capitalized investment dealer and Toronto Stock Exchange member. He managed proprietary trading portfolios for Maple and its affiliates with aggregate balance sheet assets of $3 billion.
Mr. Kneis began his career with First Marathon Securities in 1987. Mr. Kneis was a managing partner of FM Financial Products (“FMFP”), an equity derivative proprietary trading group which Mr. Kneis helped grow to over 200 employees and thirteen profit centres across four countries. During his tenure, FMFP delivered 48 consecutive quarters of profitability.
Mr. Kneis has a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (BASc) from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University. Mr. Kneis holds the ICD.D in Corporate Board Governance from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
