We hosted gatherings in Toronto and Montréal as a way to gauge interest in our idea of creating a
Canadian association that would be active in hedge strategies, liquid alternatives, private lending,
real estate, and other alternatives (which would include digital assets such as cryptocurrencies and
blockchain technology). As one can imagine, the response was positive.
